I once took a book by Sciama with me to read while waiting in a doctor's
office. The title was Modern Cosmology. The young receptionist, reading the
title, remarked that she had several books on the subject, and that she
someday wanted to find work in that area. Slightly taken aback, I asked her how she had come by her interest? She answered that she had always wanted to know about makeup and hair styling. |
